DS Avocats advised the American group Nocturne Luxury Villas and the American investment fund Gladstone Investment Corporation on French law matters in connection with the acquisition of the WIMCO group.
The transaction was completed on December 10, 2021 for an undisclosed amount.
WIMCO is a group specialized in villa rentals in the French West Indies.
This investment was made in the context of Nocturne Luxury Villas and Gladstone Investment Corporation’s series of investments in the luxury vacation rental sector, particularly in Saint Barthelemy, in June and July 2021.
Nocturne Luxury Villas was advised by Marc-Pierre Stehlin in collaboration with the DS Avocats team led by Partner Benoît Charrière-Bournazel assisted by Associate Julia Folgoas on corporate matters. Tax law aspects were handled by Partner Christophe Billet and Associate Marie Patitucci.
