Edouard De Bentzmann

Biography

Édouard de Bentzmann has joined DS Avocats to support Chinese companies in their international expansion across France, Europe, and all regions where DS Avocats operates, encompassing a wide range of economic sectors.

With an initial professional experience in China, where he spent two years as a legal and tax attaché at the Economic Mission of the French Embassy in Beijing, Édouard de Bentzmann continued his legal career by working with prominent French law firms in Hong Kong and Shanghai. This allowed him to deepen his expertise in Chinese and Hong Kong business law following his completion of the CAPA (Certificate of Aptitude for the Legal Profession).

He later transitioned to a major French corporation as a legal manager, overseeing projects in China and other asian countries. This role, combined with nearly ten years of experience in Asia, helped him build a strong foundation in foreign investment law, contract law, and labor law.
