Judith Riera Ortega

Biography

Judith Riera is a lawyer in the Barcelona office of DS Avocats. After graduating in Law, she completed the Master's Degree in Legal Practice and became a member of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB).

She began her professional career doing internships in the corporate departments of national law firms with international scope. She then consolidated her experience working as a junior lawyer, providing advice to companies at all stages, from creation to dissolution, and actively participating in the drafting and review of commercial contracts and contracts in the healthcare field. In addition, she has experience in issues related to foundations and associations.

Her training was expanded by completing the Advanced Master's Degree in Legal Sciences in Barcelona and Mannheim (Germany), thus enriching her legal perspective internationally. In addition, Judith plays the role of coordinator and legal advisor at the Legal Clinic of the Pompeu Fabra University, where she provides legal advice to people without resources.

In 2024, she is participating in the Young European Lawyers Academy in Trier (Germany) and Luxembourg, after being nominated as a candidate by the Barcelona Bar Association. At DS Avocats, Judith is part of the corporate, foundations and acquisitions department, actively participating in advising on these matters, as well as in the review of contracts.
