Natacha Boivin

Biography

Natacha Boivin is a partner based in the Montreal office. A lawyer and accredited mediator in civil and commercial law, she continues to practice in civil and commercial litigation, real estate and business law, with a particular focus on the construction sector. Since the introduction of Law 25, she has chosen to develop her passion for information technology, assisting Quebec, Canadian and international organizations, both private and public, in their compliance with privacy legislation.

With over 30 years' experience, she has held leadership positions, notably as partner in private practice and vice-president of legal affairs at the APCHQ, where she played a key role in the evolution of Quebec's construction industry. 

She is known for her close client relationships and is highly valued for her availability, openness, efficiency, rigor, and strategic guidance in development and construction projects. Her expertise spans contract review and negotiation, corporate structuring, obtaining licenses from the Régie du bâtiment du Québec, mandatory or conventional warranties, as well as dispute prevention and resolution.

Dedicated to knowledge-sharing, Natacha has developed a step-by-step flat-rate service for compliance with privacy laws and health and social services information protection law in Québec. Her approach prioritizes complete organizational autonomy and includes governance plan documents as well as the legal and practical knowledge needed to manage these laws effectively and avoid penalties. To date, over 500 companies have benefited from her guidance.
